Have a gig to do Friday afternoon and no power supplied down on the street where it will be located...so I had to get creative and power the keyboard from a 12V 7.2Ah battery with in-line fuse, switch, wiring and connectors and a suitable container to put it in....checked it out last night and ran it for a couple of hours...worked great....now I have to do the same thing with the DOD FX7 guitar processor....it runs on 9VAC and I have to convert it over to DC using 4 9V batteries wired in series/parallel to get 18V...then use a 12V regulator and a voltage divider to get 11.5VDC out to power the processor....so that is my next project for today as it has to be ready for Friday afternoon.....of course as luck would have it, I have 4 repairs come in within the last two days....which will have to wait until the show is over......so there are ways of getting around some road blocks.......you just have to get creative......
