For you Gino Vannelli fans, Powerful People on MoFi 1/2 speed sounds fantastic!

A couple little known Vannelli albums I strongly recommend:

Live in Montreal - Pony Canyon Japan CD 1991

Crazy Life - A&M Gino's first album playlistrecord.:

One Woman Lover is my favorite track on this album. Crazy Life, Cherizar and Great Lakes Canoe are other recommended tracks.

Paul Williams!!!

A terriffic lesser known PW song the title track from his Ordinary Fool album. It was featured in Bugsy Malone. Karen Carpenter did a wonderful cover on the posthumous album Voice of the Heart:

After the previous video, You Tube picked out the Dukes of September aka Boz Scaggs, Donald Fagen & Michael McDonald doing Lowdown. Looking forward to William Royce Scaggs on Big Interview w/Dan Rather tonight 7 PM CST on AXS TV.

Oh those Saturday nights!🛳 🧜‍♀️🧜‍♂️

Just couldn't resist this one written by Charles Fox & Paul Williams, sung by Jack Jones.

Here's a lovely rendition by the man himself.

There's a wonderful documentary about Paul Williams called 'Still Alive' that I would highly recommend.

Have you ever heard this song called Stay by Santana? It’s off the Marathon album from 1979. It sounds so much like the Love Boat theme to me that, every time I hear it, I start singing that Love Boat theme over the lyrics...LOL

OMG, I still own a vinyl of Bugsy Malone soundtrack and adore Karen Captenter and never knew she did a cover. I'm definately gonna track that down.

Yes, I can definitely hear a similarity. That's funny! 😂 Carlos must have been a secret admirer of the show. LOL!

Saw Gino only once in a small venue in Manhattan where he did Powerful People LIVE. Quite an entertainer.......wonder if those A&M Master Tapes also perished in that Universal Fire?
