It's too early for importcds and deepdiscount...but they will have it...acoustic sounds...elusive disc...and music direct all list the vinyl version of that album so they will probably have the SACD version...

Usually, ImportCD has THE best prices on AF SACDs (both stereo and QUAD). They'll probably have BOC listed by month's end.

I hadn't seen the credits, and was not aware of who was doing the mastering on the BOC SACD. It appeares based on a new comment from SH, that Hoffman / Marsh are doing or have already done the stereo and quad on the upcoming Secret Treaties SACD.

I'm a big fan or SH's mastering when the material is more natural and acoustic based. So we will see.

Maybe its the packaging change (to remove all mention of that pesky surround sound..! ) that's holding things up..

I don't think so. I think those packaging changes were already in effect when this title was originally announced.
Chances are, things are just backed up at the SACD pressing plant.

You know I wasn't being entirely serious, Ryan.. (hence the wink! )

Just so long as this is in Surround when it comes I really don't care about a delay (and at this point I don't care what packaging it comes in, bundle it in with free Happy Meals if it helps shift some units opcorn )

Bumping this thread just 'cause I feels like it.

I really love the full on Glam vibe of Me 262. I think this is what makes this album such a strange it dabbles in many styles at once. I'll admit liking half of it but I'll still get it. The strong tracks are really, really good.

Is it me or does it feel like this thing is taking forever to come out?

It's been delayed a couple of weeks....according to Acoustic Sounds it will be released in September [exact day not specified].

I came across a cassette I made 20 years ago or more with the better half of the album, plus the better half of several other hard rock albums. It's a really rockin' tape I just listened to it the other day for the first time in many years. I had been driftin' from hard rock at the time and sold off some LPs, but taped some of the faves first.
