One thing I don't quite understand. For example, this particular BDA title. How come you can't even view it at SDE right now? Even if the window has closed for ordering, wouldn't they at least list it as sold out?

No matter what I do, I cannot find it.

The original SDE shop link was this:

https://www.thesdeshop.com/products...-consent-sde-exclusive-blu-ray-4cd-dvd-deluxe

It goes to a 404 error now.

The table in the first post of this thread has links to the SDE all (or almost all, I couldn't find a couple of the early ones)

https://www.quadraphonicquad.com/fo...ed-list-of-titles-with-links-in-post-1.31901/

The link I used for the Bronski Beat album on there takes you to the main SDE site article - I chose this one (over the sdeshop.com link) because it had the big write-up on the album, and also links to the other variants of the album they were offering 4CD+DVD etc. It had embedded links to the BluRay that are now removed.

Thanks for all the info Dave. If I may press (I see what I did there) the issue, why are some titles listed as sold out, while this one is simply removed? Does that suggest that there is NO chance in hell it will have a small repress...like some others have?

To be clear, I have it on order, I'm just a curious fu** and I can't stand when I don't understand stuff. :hi :censored:

I actually had it in my cart when the pre-order was announced. I balked at the last minute when I realized that the original 12-inch hit single version of "Small Town Boy" was not included in any form (Dolby Atmos or as a stereo bonus track.) For me, that was simply too glaring an omission for me to fork over my cash. There have been 2-3 other extended versions released over the years, but IMO they don't hold a candle to the original. There is one particularly lazy version that inexplicably starts with a two-minute plus instrumental bed before any vocals kick in. I hope for those of you who did pre-order it that is not the version SDE used. I think it's a dud. As always, YMMV.

Well pop pickers, I'm grooving to this synthtastic release from SDE

i'm only a few tracks in (wow there's so many tracks on this thing!! ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ˜ฑ ) but it's a seemingly a great effort by that pool of talent as well, i can only play Atmos Blu-ray's in 7.1 with no Heights on my current disc setup but on that basis i can tell it's a really nice Surround-y mix and i look forward to hearing it in all it's Full Atmos (TM! ๐Ÿ˜‚ ) glory with Heights when it goes live on the streaming platforms ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ˜ป

the last thing this forum needs is to see any of us ol' geezers belly dancing!! ๐Ÿคญ๐Ÿ˜œ
