Did you listen to The Moody Blues? My favorite two SACD's

Listening right now to SWT's 5.1 of TOCCC 'side two.' Boy does it kick ass. And I don't wanna hear any guff about it being too bright. The SACD quad is bright. It's just the way it was recorded. (Higher And Higher on both mixes does challenge my ears though.)

It is the lack of bass on Higher And Higher that causes the sensation of excessive brightness.

The 50th anniversary mix of TOCCC was definitely 5.1 but had problems with the LFE. If you isolate the LFE, you hear vocals in that channel. Also, Higher and Higher was extremely flawed. You have to wonder if the engineer who mixed that listened to what they did. Surprising it would be released like that.
