DTS CD Discography

The DTS CD Discography has been updated.

Over the years working on this I have found it odd that recordings outside of the US might include one to a few DTS tracks on a regular CD. In most cases the track before the DTS version would provide a warning to the listener about what would happen noise wise if not played thru a DTS decoder. Below is a list of such recordings and wonder if I might be missing a good surround track from a good band. Has any here had any exposure to these artists?

Very odd that they would put regular CD tracks on the same CD with DTS. Those without DTS capability will be blasted by noise if they don't heed the warning. I suppose that CD players are rather obsolete anyway, many people would be using a DVD or Blu-ray player with DTS capability. It still seems a bit weird.

I agree , on a cd player that noise would be irritating . A bit of a strange way to introduce DTS to the listener.

Hi Mark - recently found a note in my phone from at least a year ago for DTS CDs section:

DON HENLY should be DON HENLEY
LYLE LOVETTE should be LYLE LOVETT

Move that 'E' from one to the other then all good! Thanks for your continued work on these sections.

I'd say moderate to very good , just as the jazzy feel of the album is moderate .
