That remains an excellent overview of Tomita's rather scattered release discography. Great sleuthing. We finally get the Firebird in all its glory. IMO, D~V's Daphnis et Chloe was amazing! Exquisite, actually!

Maybe, but probably not why they released it. SteelyDave says that titles released today, have been in the pipeline for much, much longer than we realize.

That's the case with every music company and seller - and almost every music release.
It takes time to put together the recording, transfer, mastering, disc production, marketing, etc.

Not to look a gift horse in the mouth; but that's how I've always felt about D-V, it's a lot of work that we don't see - a real gift!
