just received this..$7 new delivered from the big 'A'...i have always loved the content :yikes even have the CD from years ago...so figured i'd give the dualdisc a try at that price...and same as LizardKing...i quite like it! mix and AQ is excellent...definite !

Well.. it's huuuuuugely compressed.. one of the loudest discs I've heard in some while..you'll hate it for that, keenly!

..which is a shame as the surround is very good indeed.. and the mix very well balanced, with backing & harmony vocals, guitars and other assorted things discrete in the rears.. it's no big or double stereo mix, it's got great separation, just a shame it's so unbelievably maximised to the point you have to turn it right down to even bear let alone enjoy it, it is a super super loud disc.

Even though the news on this disc is bad I applaud you for giving honest and revealing input on the disc. Too many people aren't giving candid opinions of the sound quality of discs. You are saving people from buyers remorse when you provide this valuable input. I can forgive certain things on discs(too much or too little center channel or passive surround)but compression/brightness isn't one of them.
