for some reason the sitar never jumped out at me in The Clash's "Armagideon Time" which is a personal favorite of mine (being a cover and a B-side) and that song was also featured in the 1999 Jim Jarmusch film Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai which is a kick ass movie

ahh sitar....looks VERY difficult to play!!!! and geez, have you seen Anoushka's horrible calluses/open wounds from playing???? (I know , I sound like Alan Sues in Laugh In....)

So I thought that THIS might be a better solution since I have not come across any decent Sound Libraries...

Love its sound ..so many harmonics...

Man Kap' that EH Ravish Sitar stomp box has some real crazy but sweet sounds . I don't play enough anymore to be buying more stomp boxes (there's gazillions of the things out there), but I would have loved playing with that back in the day. It also seems to have many other adjustable varied textures that can be utilized.

I know, every time I see one I think I'll like, and put on a wish list, a new comes along to supplant it! Ravish duly wished until kicked, lol.
