I jumped on this fast not even knowing the group. Maybe the ‘limited to 1000’ lured me in.
Just played the samples expecting to hate it and then emailing SDE to cancel.
But surprise surprise, I like it.

I definitely agree on all accounts, but it begs the question -- why mention him? It's clear (to me) they need his name dropped, or no one would care based on the music alone.
Totally agree. The only reason this is on blu ray is because of Lifeson. If you wanted one and didn’t get it before it sold out, I’m sure you’ll be able to get one at a decent price on eBay eventually. Unless people are only grabbing them to have the complete set. I sat this one out.

Unless people are only grabbing them to have the complete set.
That would be me.
I like to keep my complete set going. I have figured out my listening of unfamiliar music is best when listened to within a few days of delivery, but much more appreciated listened again months or years later.
My mood has a lot to do with my experience in listening to music.
1000 copies, sold out very fast.

I think after collecting all of the SDE Surround Series atmos blu-rays up until now, I'm finally out. There is the temptation to purchase due to the limited run of 1000 (which would make it quite rare, similar to the limited runs of Ten Years After, or Gilbert O'Sullivan). From listening to the four available tracks I would likely listen to this disc once (if that) and then shelve it - I have done worse, as there are 5 or 6 other SDE titles that I have not yet had the desire to open and listen to (all of which were/are available beyond their pre-order window). Also, with recent poor exchange rates not in my favour, it would cost me over NZ$80 to purchase a copy, which really is too much for a single blu-ray atmos audio disc. Having said all of that, should I not have a number of other things happening in my life at the moment, some of which impacting any disposable income that I have, the completest curse might have won out.
Nooooooooo! I'd preordered the Roxy Music and INXS, and this would have been a gap in my sequential run, so I succumbed and ordered today when a few became available, even though the exchange rates are making these SDE exclusives even more expensive (Roxy Music cost me over NZ$80 even with combined shipping with other items!). Guess I haven't shaken off that curse after all.
