Surprised it hasn't been released in UHD4K ....GREAT FLICK!

I watched THE LOST CITY last night on Epix with Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, Daniel Radcliffe and Brad Pitt. Other than the mediocre HD streaming presentation, it was quite enjoyable although it was a bit of a stretch imagining Tatum who is 42 as Bullock's love interest [she is 57 and botoxed to the max but actually looks quite good]. LOVED Brad Pitt even though he had a very brief but memorable role. Should look better when it's released in two months in Native UHD4K. Cinematography was excellent as was the surround immersion.

Great DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 surround track on this one . . . almost as good as Ebert's commentary track–one of my favorites!

Finally cracked open my magnificent Criterion Fellini Box set consisting of 14 Fellini films most mastered in 4K [1080p] and watched his classic LA STRADA with his wife Guiletta Masina, Anthony Quinn and Richard Basehart. Superb 4K/1080p transfer of this heartbreaking treasure. I was fortunate to purchase this set brand new from AmazonUS for $112 [that's $8 per disc!!!!!!!]

Would prefer Tatum picking leeches off Bullock’s naked torso. Now that would be priceless!

Kid, seeing that Sandra was wearing a skin tight full length sequined jump suit .... no way for the leeches to attach to her body. And it probably wasn't in her contract to do a nudie scene!

I haven't seen it since 1980! The one and only time in the movie theater. Man! That was a POWERFUL experience. That last scene really stuck with me. Well, among others, but being the last one in the movie . . . . I think i could sit through it again, now that it's been 42 years! At least the sounds of the fights won't be in surround on the upcoming Criterion release . . . though the visuals will be in "stunningly visceral" 4K UHD! Stay Surrounded, Comrade!
