Jackie Brown is my favorite Tarantino movie and the best filmic presentation of any Elmore Leonard novel (Rum Punch in this case). A must-buy for me.

I watched the Blu-ray of Jackie Brown this past weekend. I’d only seen the film once prior and didn’t really like it but I must say it’s a real grower, now I think it’s one of my favourites of Tarantino. The 2011 blu-ray still holds up well but I’m sure the Native 4K presentation will be beautiful.

The 5.1 track is also beautifully showcases the great source cues Quentin drops into his films. It’s definitely the best place to hear “Across 110th Street”, and I must say that opening title sequence is absolutely iconic and one of the best openings to a movie I’ve ever seen.
