The film isn't really my thing but the Atmos soundtrack is awesome! :)

No release date yet but GRUV is accepting orders for 4k versions of Pale Ride, The Outlaw Josey Wales and Dirty Harry.
This, according to digitalbits.com

Also, some of you may know that Clint Eastwood’s X account last week (on 1/27) revealed that Warner Bros. is bringing a number of Eastwood catalog films to 4K Steelbook “exclusively in the UK and France, with no availability in the US at this time.” The titles include Pale Rider (1985), Dirty Harry (1971), and The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976). Clicking on the Warner Bros UK shop links reveals that no street date is listed, and the X post has since been deleted. Here’s what it looked like...

Clint Eastwood 4K post on X

We’ve checked in with our industry sources and we do believe that these titles are coming in the US as well, probably sometime later this year. But details are still TBD, which is probably why the post was removed. So watch for official announcements in the weeks and months ahead, and you can rest assured that we’ll report any news here as soon as it’s available.

As I try to catch up with this years Academy Award nominees for BEST PICTURE I watched director Sean Baker's [The Florida Project/Red Rocket] 2024 Palme D'Or Winner ANORA on Amazon Prime last night [$5.99/HDR/4K] and am still trying to decide whether it was worth all the hyped accolades it has received. It's central character, ANORA played by Mikey Madison who is also up for BEST ACTRESS certainly put her heart and soul into playing a female escort who hails from Queens, NY [replete with accent] who also happens to speak Russian and becomes the instant muse of Ivan played by Mark Eydelshteyn who happens to be the immature pampered offspring of a shady Russian billionaire Oligarch!

What ensues is a whirlwind passionate affair which leaves nothing to the imagination ending in a trip to Vegas where the couple get married in a wedding chapel on the strip.

Of course all hell breaks loose when Ivan's parents get wind of the marriage and fly to New York to instantly anul the marriage but in the meantime send their henchmen to secure the marriage contract and 4 carat diamond wedding ring to expedite the process never fully realizing how committed Anora is to her 'marriage vows' and intent to stay with Ivan FOREVER!

Of course, Ivan caves to the prospect of his overbearing parents resenting the bond and escapes to further distance himself from the marriage and what ensues is pure pandemonium!

But when Anora finally comes to her senses after meeting the parents and realizing her dream of marriage to Ivan was a farcical 'whim' she finally signs the annulment papers and returns to her life as an escort with a $10K final payment as retribution for dissolving the bond!

Does Anora have a happy ending ..... Hardly! More like a game of Russian Roulette....where her Heart of Gold [digging] turns to MUSH. And the final scene will have you wondering if her tears were really worth the 136 minute runtime of Sean Baker's latest opus?

I will say the production design was excellent and the sound simply AMAZING. My speakers got a thorough workout and the bass was astounding!

Would love to know what others thought of ANORA?

ANORA will be released by CRITERION on April 29th in Native UHD4K
