Spandau Ballet weren't musically "my cup of tea" but they were obviously very good musicians, and having seen Gary Kemp play (he's a very good guitarist) with Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets I'd definitely buy it on an SDE release!

Gotta say I'm digging this album more and more with each listen. There are so many cool details to uncover in the Atmos mix, like the pinging synth part moving around the height speakers at the beginning of "Windswept Street." The intro to "At The Chateau" panning from rear to front only in the tops is demo-worthy as well.

Again, I like to see new Steven Wilson Atmos mixes that put main vocals exclusively on Wides (nothing on Fronts), following similar strategy than Bruce Soord.

Gary's voice appear only at the Wides, exclusively, with an additional little low volume at the Center. This, I think, will help to avoid a narrow sweet spot for vocals, and gives a "floating voice over there" feeling, instead of the tradicional isolated centered vocals.

I didn't know about Gary Kemp and I was never interested in Spandau Ballet. I also didn't know he is a member of Nick Mason's band. But thanks to this fabulous Atmos mix, I'm really appreciating this album.
