Just an ambiant surround mix but a good sounding title.
Some tracks shave lots of compression to make it (intentionally) loud sounding but other tracks do sound terrific.

I also like the Ronnie Scotts recordings.
However these are not great recordings to begin with and through hires the flaws are just more obvious.

The Bob Marley releases likewise.

I just hear a lot of echo in the rears. The bass seems a bit weak to me. The center channel doesn't seem to have anything discrete, the vocals are louder in the center, but the same vocal is present in both fronts. The intro to the first song starts quiet, then it gets very loud. Then the rest of the song and a lot of the rest of the album, sounds a bit clipped and harsh. But I don't have the CD to compare. And even a mediocre DVD-A is probably worth 20 these days. There is so little blues in 5.1 sound, so if you're a blues fan get it anyway.
