Not on Amazon UK yet unfortunately. Strangely Amazon UK still have no correct listing for Quadrophenia studio 5.1 either. The album cover picture is now correct, but the description still says that it is a live album

Just buy it(Quadrophenia) and stop your belly achin, you silly git....

I ordered both the studio & live show bluray discs. I will be partyin big time next Tuesday.:banana::banana:

I will I will, but I don't want the live disc, only the studio one :slap:

So will I, I'm just about to go on a 2 week holiday :sun:brew. Quadrophenia will be purchased as soon as I return.

I wonder if SW would like to mix any more Gentle Giant...

It's also available to order from Headphone Dust too:

As for more Gentle Giant remixes, I would say that "Octopus", "In A Glass House" (and maybe "Three Friends") are the most likely, simply because I think the band have now regained ownership and control of those albums, whereas they would have to license the first two for remix and re-release.

Steven Wilson is up for more GG remixes. From a fb post in April

Also on the way this Summer are my stereo / 5.1 remixes of Jethro Tull’s A Passion Play (a 2 CD / 2 DVD set including the “lost” 1972 Chateau Tapes album), Gentle Giant’s The Power and the Glory (Blu-Ray/CD and DVD/CD), and XTC's Drums and Wires (Blu-Ray/CD and DVD-A/CD). There are plans to continue with all of these artist’s catalogues over time, with hopefully another early 70’s Yes title towards the end of the year.

I would hope that Playing The Fool would be considered as well! Terrific recordings of peak performances...

Hopefully done a bit to help future SW 5.1 mixes. Just pre-ordered via Headphone Dust - under classic remixes no Jethro Tull, so maybe the record co. won't allow it.

Great to hear that they are considering more Gentle Giant in surround. Octopus please.... one of my personal favourites...

Although any of their "classic" albums that haven't got a surround mix yet would be great!

I really like the music(album on youtube), I can't get in to the vocals. Do they have any albums with less 'out there' vocal stylings I could check out as an introduction, or is this the norm? SW is introducing me to bands I would of never previously known existed.

Derek is Derek; Kerry also sings lead at times. It is what it is. Their second album is ironically entitled Acquiring The Taste. Either you will or you won't and miss out.

There are less flattering vocals throughout the metal genre.

I agree about the vocals in the sense that it takes some getting use to them. Overall though I prefer Kerry's voice and many of my favorite GG songs have him on lead vocals.

Thanks rtbluray! My Blu-ray pre-order is in! Oh and on a side note can anybody tell me why all of a sudden I seem to be going broke lately? I just don't understand it, oh well on the upside I have a lot of great multichannel music to listen to :). Hey wait a minute, what the? Ohhhhhhhhhh, I get it! Son of....! Those sneaky Fargin' BASTIGES!!! Those Fargin' ICEHOLES have figured out the perfect way to separate me from my money, Why I oughta.......Huh ? What was that? Ohhhhhhhhhh......Never mind. Carry on, nothing to see here...These aren't the droids you're looking for.

Thanks rtbluray

I'm in San Diego on holiday.
Next time i'm in USA i'll drop by your way for a beer and a 5.1 day
