Gotcha. It was someone else who said that it would be sparse because there’s only 3 dudes in the band. My mistake.Merely noted there were not 4 dudes for @weekendtoy , nothing more

If he played them all at once, there'd probably NEED to be a significant amount of overdubs. lolWell, unless Tim played bass, keyboards and piano all at once, there are going to be a significant amount of overdubs.
I'm pretty sure it's the same. How does the stereo mix on the blu ray compare to the web release?
So apparently dr6 now counts as dynamic?I'm pretty sure it's the same.
You were looking at it upside down. It's 9!So apparently dr6 now counts as dynamic?
You're referencing the Super Deluxe Edition post or store page about the release, right? Yeah, it was a lie. lolSo apparently dr6 now counts as dynamic?
Damn and I thought Pual was on our side lmaoYou're referencing the Super Deluxe Edition post or store page about the release, right? Yeah, it was a lie. lol
Yeah, that's what I meant, mainly. There was confusion earlier if the stereo mix was new too, which I think I posted about in this thread.Damn and I thought Pual was on our side lmao
(joking aside I expect it was most likely miscommunication)
I'm pretty sure it was clear in the email I shared in here (I say pretty sure because I don't remember the contents exactly). The stereo release is not a new mix. What was the answer in that regard, is the 2 channel a new mix or mastering?
Seems to me the answers from SDE weren’t definitive
I know you think the stereo mix is the same as the Web version but could you dr test it anyway?I'm pretty sure it was clear in the email I shared in here (I say pretty sure because I don't remember the contents exactly). The stereo release is not a new mix.
I’ll go back and look for that post/email.I'm pretty sure it was clear in the email I shared in here (I say pretty sure because I don't remember the contents exactly). The stereo release is not a new mix.
Specifically the DSD layer of the SACD, oddly enough. The CD layer had the regular compressed mastering.I believe the most dynamic digital release for the stereo mix was the sacd.

Yep! A wonderful Doug Sax master. Should have been the one used for all releases.
