Wow - that's very close to full list price. Despite the minor delays I'm happy with Importcds. My copy just hit the Denver distribution center so I should have it in a couple of days.
My problem with import is it’s a huge warehouse and they don’t know what they are selling. I’ve ordered from them a few times and it’s always been poorly packaged, and they’ve sent the wrong disc on at least one occasion. I’ll pay extra from Ken; I know him, he knows what he has and he’ll ship quickly and pack well. It’s worth supporting small businesses to me.Wow - that's very close to full list price. I’ve been dealing with Ken since 2012. First time was in person, he brought stuff to a fest and sold it to me in person. I’ve only had maybe … one item get canceled due to lack of availability.Your experience with LaserCD is nothing like mine. Their prices are normally quite competitive, and I used them for a few years.
They have no control over their inventory and when you point out and prove his false statements he turns into a dick.
I've seen a lot of complaints about Importcds on this site but for me, I've never had a bad experience over many years of ordering. Occasionally I've run into delays, but most of the time they've been quick, accurate, well packaged, and often at the lowest price. Over the last few days they've offered Red at $42 - $48 - a not insignificant savings over $62. I like Ken's site as well (a great catalog), but it's almost never the cheapest option. My problem with import is it’s a huge warehouse and they don’t know what they are selling. I've got exactly the same experience with Importcds. My waiting time to get disks is a bit longer, because I live in Canada but never ever had any problems.I've seen a lot of complaints about Importcds on this site but for me, I've never had a bad experience over many years of ordering. Same here, whether to Canada or Oz, never had an issue. I was hoping they could offer a good price on the new John Mayall mega box set, which they have, but then said it was too heavy to ship to Canada! Fortunately, jpc.de think otherwise.I've got exactly the same experience with Importcds. My waiting time to get disks is a bit longer, because I live in Canada but never ever had any problems.
Mine came from importCD with pretty darn good packaging, and all discs intact.Mine is being delivered today from amazon instead of Monday.
Sorry for @Hefeman but this is unlikely to be a common mistake.
I sure hope I don't have to eat those words.....
I used to be real into the buy x get x y% off deals they did through their eBay, and have always been fascinated by their vacuum sealed(?) cardboard packaging. Can confirm that mine showed up yesterday and I just checked and all discs are fine as wellMine came from importCD with pretty darn good packaging, and all discs intact.
