Maybe Kiss is approaching this release in a similar manner to the release of the Super Deluxe Edition of Rush’s “A Farewell to Kings” which had a Steven Wilson surround mix… if I remember correctly the price on that set was pretty steep as well and I think it sold out. Yep. That’s becoming SOP on big box sets - which is what I wrote yesterday.
 
I found one place in the UK which had it listed at £150 but was sold out, it is available via amazon.com at around £190 by the time tax/postage added, and its actually more expensive from the Kiss website! Looks like this one will not end up in my collection.

Well ive had a hellova time trying to Santana sacds... Ist one ordered from deep discount ordered 2 of them only got one which i posted about that experience

Next i ordered abraxus from Walmart but goes thru deep discount...got a packing slip n EMPTY box!... Got partial refund from Walmart they refused to refund taxes im out $3-4 for receiving empty box.

Just ordered again wish me luck

I'm in exactly the same boat. It's rare I shell out for a box set but for me the stuff in the Destroyer box is highly appealing. I got into collecting Kiss stuff awhile back. At the time the album came out I actually wasn't a fan but I became one around the time of the 1996 reunion.

I also ordered from importCD to save as much as possible. Reading about the canceled Al Stewart 'Time Passages' incidents worries me, especially since I just ordered one of those too from importCD. In theory that one shipped Nov 9 and is on the way to me. Was also surprised to find out it was cheaper shipping wise to order the Destroyer and Stewart boxes separately from them vs combining.

Really disappointed this one is not showing up on Apple Music as Atmos. I had cancelled my pre-order for the box since the price is just too much for me. I guess I will just have to wait for a price cut when the retailers realize they made way more than they sold. Has anyone who ordered their box received it yet? Curious for reviews of SW's mix.

This was expectable!
First the greed…after one year the other greed! :poop:
But the release day is 12/10 anyway.

Today, ImportCDs now says back ordered. And, my copy has not shipped.

Which, was my concern. So, the moment I saw it was listed as back ordered, I ordered another copy from Amazon.. I’ll obviously keep my cheaper ImportCDs order. If it arrives later, I’ll return it. To Amazon. 👍

is it not being sold over here at all?

edit: looks like Europe is getting it on the 10th of December
