I should have mentioned this. Right after dark, we had a group of about 10 young teens show up. They were very outgoing, and to be honest, very good natured kids. Once they all grabbed a bag of candy....they all ran backwards to the middle of our yard, and lined up in some sort of unified line and sang out "thank you very much Mr and Mrs Moore.....Happy Halloween"

I have to say, it was very cute and pretty cool. Good kids.

Went to some friends for Halloween and have never seen anything like it. They must have had 4 to 500 kids come by. The whole neighborhood was like a carnival with decorations, fireworks and lots of sound effects. Kids were all very respectful. It was pretty cool, actually.

Just did a Apple 4K update, what a hassel.
Takes about 10 mins and all your apps are gone and have to reload them etc, Password nightmare.
Took me about 45 mins to get it all back to the way it was.
So plan on having some time if you do, having your Apple phone with you helps a lot.

Best grilled calamari that I ever had. Ultra tender. Right out of the Mediterranean. Much better than those frozen fried wheels we get in the US.

The Palermo Opera House. This is where they tried to wack Michael Corleone but got his daughter instead in The Godfather Pt III.

Palermo cathedral... enormous

I also saw the biggest cannoli I've ever seen in my life...suicide for the lactose intolerant...looked bigger than the cathedral. Lol

Halloween Report......
I had zero kids asking for treats.
Now in fairness, I saw a couple groups wandering about, but in my mind Halloween wasn't on a Thursday. I thought the kids thought, it was like election day, just turned Halloween into Halloween week, so I didn't turn on the light or sit outside on the steps........
What an Idiot!!!!
I can't believe myself sometimes

So two 80 count bags of treats went into the kitchen garbage and I even carried it outside to the garage can.
Didn't want to tempt myself, as I lost 30lbs since January.......

Yep, I gave a friend, who is teaching, a bag of leftover candy to disperse, no doubt terrorizing the other teachers with a sugar high epidemic. No temptations for me, either!
