For me, I much prefer Shangri-La and also Get Lucky, but I can see why this disc was chosen for the surround treatment.

Shangri-La has a surround release too.

Both SACD and DVD-A. DVD-A is native to the original PCM mix, but I thought I heard some unwanted clipping on it. Haven't listened to the SACD to compare. Can't find a poll thread using search.

Unfortunately, I do not have the equipment to play SACDs. I'll have to look round on sites here in the UK. I bought Brothers In Arms SACD for a few pounds years ago, but have never heard the surround mix.

Brothers in Arms is amazing, but Sailing to Philadelphia and Shangri La are excellent too. Wish there were more Knopfler surround mixes.

I will be shocked if there is clipping on the BIA DVD-A. I'll try to make time to check.
IMO, it sounds just as good as the SACD and, as I use bass-management on my HTS, I appreciate having a native PCM source.
