This sent me around the bend for awhile.
Kodi would default to lossy DTS core if it was an m2ts container.
Took me awhile to figure out it was only m2ts container
Just thought I'd post it if someone else has this provlem.
It's been logged to Kodi and a fix is coming...sometime!
You can however convert any m2ts file to mkv quickly with the free mkvtoolnix program
Which also gains you some more hdd space to due to the increased efficiency of the mkv container
