The Who - Who's Next - Super Deluxe Reissue
Box Locked Immersive Blu-ray
A Minor Rant and a Plea

@rtbluray asked that we keep price complaints out of the announcement thread, so I'll leave this here.

Positive shout out to @PaulatSDE for his wonderful SDE site (utilized in the video) and his truly awesome SDE Surround Series.

Thanks for saying what we are all thinking!!

It's because of this boxset that I discover the surround experience. I remember waiting for that big box in my doorway late at night. Genesis my favorite band for a price at that time that seems reasonable and today rather cheap with no extra stuff that we don't need, only the essential and the classic albums of the Gabriel era. I have now all the Genesis in surround, but those early albums are special.

Genesis - The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway
Plus, The Green Box and other Box Sets discussed

Bonus: The Video Show promo video collection

Boy was I ever happy when those Genesis Surround albums were being released!
My favourites in prog rock , Mike.
Thanks for the feature.
Me too.

For some years, I've got the box and others as decorative items in my side of our bed in the bedroom.

Yep my favourites are the Green and Grey box sets...with Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett.

I missed out on the sacd version from some screw-up from Amazon , but I went ahead and purchased individual disc's w SACD for Treaspass , Nursery Cryme , Foxtrot and Selling England By The Pound. Lamb was unavailable.

Anyway just happy to have them .

WOW, Mike, another incredible interview! And what an affable gentleman Paul Sinclair is! And totally understandable that he was unable to divulge any future titles but from his remarks, I think we're in for some remarkable surprises!

Life in Surround, as always, ROCKS.

Thanks Mike

The most important point of the interview occurs at about 5:50 where Paul states that he is probably like most of the viewers and readers who buy more than they can listen to. Do you hear that, significant others?

When a great 5.1 exists, it's a hard sell, for me, to pay big bucks for an Atmos mix.

Like King Crimson In the Court 50th with the SW 5.1 re-remix vs. the huge 1969 box that came out shortly after, with Atmos.
Is the Atmos going to be THAT much better? Big dollars better?
Looks like a discussion of the upcoming Yes and King Crimson super deluxe sets featuring Dolby Atmos just might be the next topic for Life In Surround. That’s enough to keep Baggy busy until Who’s Next drops. 🤔

OMG. Great minds.

I'm prepping for that topic right now.

And Fish... And The Pineapple Thief... And...
