I have that capability through my JRiver software. I can do on each track: Volume Level (R128), Volume Level (Replay Gain), Dynamic Range (R128), Dynamic Range (DR), Peak Level (R128), Peak Level (Sample), BPM, HDCD, and Waveform. Don't ask me what that all means, maybe someone like SSully can explain.
The way I understand it is the player with the audio analyzer on each track, takes that information and levels everything out for a better listening experience?
I don't use Foobar, but sometimes I wish I did, I really like the black skin and the way it all looks with the waveforms for each channel. JRiver uses a single waveform, I think mostly for looks? It's an option that I do not use.
