I break things down into arbitrary sub-genres to make the lists manageable on my phone.
Even then some are growing too large.
I appreciate the little album cover icons as I scroll quickly to recognize the title I'm looking for.

Having just bought an ATV4K I’m finally digging into this intimidatingly (and excitingly) diverse thread. I never thought I’d find the day where surround music wouldn’t be ancient reissues, classical, etc. so it look at these lists and my mouth waters.

Before I do the obvious to Google it — is there a way to follow you/these lists on Apple Music?

Either way, good on you for trying to manage the firehose of releases. The mind boggles.

@GOS began a "Best Streamed Atmos Titles" thread the other day:
https://www.quadraphonicquad.com/forums/threads/best-streamed-atmos-titles.33054/And @HomerJAU is spearheading the creation of a new site dedicated to polls & reviews of streaming Atmos mixes--hopefully online soon:

Not new music, but worth sharing in here none the less: seems like the rumors of a new Apple TV were true… except I don’t see much of a reason to switch personally:
https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2022/10/apple-introduces-the-powerful-next-generation-apple-tv-4k/
Changes seem to be: $50 lower price (with the loss of an Ethernet port. Ethernet port version still available at $20 more), new A15 Bionic chip (what the current iPhones use. On both Ethernet and ethernetless models), HDR10+ support, USB-C on the remote. That’s about it.

Edit: adjusted price for the Ethernet port version. Also the Ethernet port version has 128 GB of storage… which may actually be useful as I run out of room with Apple Arcade games frequently. Not enough for me to upgrade though.

For those who have been on the fence, and are fine with Wifi only, the Apple TV now starts at $130
