Just stumbled across this one myself. I‘ve only listened to a few songs, but I think folks here will like this one. IMO, it‘s an Atmos mix with a very vintage Quad-like approach.

"Just my Imagination" (a fantastic mix) was released as part of a compilation back in Tidal's first wave (pun intended), so it's nice that they finally went back and mixed the rest of the album (or finally got around to releasing it). I agree, it's a very Quad-like approach that people should enjoy.

Histoire de Melody Nelson is a new Atmos mix; they haven't recycled the 5.1 .
Nice and reasonably discrete.

I have compared this one to the 5.1 mix. I much prefer the Atmos mix. More bottom end, more punchy, better tonality overall.
Listen to Cargo Culte, for example. The 5.1 is mixed in 'storytelling' style. This atmos sounds like a rock album. Well done

Actually, this looks like second batch of Serge Gainsbourg's albums in Atmos, this time from 1968 - 1975. Right, Histoire de Melody Nelson was available before, and remains to be the only one from these on Tidal too.

I was about to go to bed last night when I saw this post. Rushed down to the music room and powered up my rig, sampled some songs to be sure it was indeed Atmos, and it was.

An update on Max Richter’s Sleep. I didn’t check EVERY track, but it seems like it now extends to track 102 in Atmos.
I gave it a spin last night while reading before bed, I hope the 31 track version gets this mix, as the poor gapless playback that Atmos has at the moment kinda kills it for me. Still enjoyable however.
