Discovered a couple of YT vids on this album that made me notice more of this artist (sounds like a lot of Prince influence and others to me.)

Updated my Apple 4K TV from 17.1 to 17.3 this morning and while playing this album didn't notice anything but stereo (it says Atmos in the heading) So I thought maybe the update changed something; but I then I tried some Booka Shade, ('cause you know that's gonna rock the extra speakers, and they sounded great -in 5.1 here.)

Also thought maybe it's one of those with just one or two songs actually in Atmos, so then I checked Ben Dodson's Atmos finder, and that said the whole album is Atmos. Very much at a lose as to why I'm not getting anything in surround off this album. Anyone have good surround on their system for Voodoo?

Anyway here are the vids that attracted me to this artist/album:

I am experiencing a bit of a hit and miss since the latest tvOs update.

Heroin sounds interesting!
Man, the last time I said that, I woke up a week and a half later in Guatemala, surrounded by empty bottles of mescal, a woman that, terrifyingly, looked exactly like Bill the Cat from Bloom County, a bag full of Lego pieces (all left corners), and, inexplicably, an ocelot.

Old Salvador Dali did have a wicked sense of humour!

Grammy for best immersive album: The Diary of Alicia Keys. Originally released in 2003.

Credits Atmos version: George Massenburg & Eric Schilling, immersive mix engineers; Michael Romanowski, immersive mastering engineer; Alicia Keys & Ann Mincieli, immersive producers (Alicia Keys).

It sounds great but IMO not as good as her self titled album that won the same Grammy two years ago with the same production team:

They are boh still 360 on Tidal AFAIK, not Atmos. Perhaps about time to release the Atmos versions there as well?
