Now just missing Biophilia and Drawing Restraint 9. I have… doubts the latter will get one since it’s an odd duck in her discography but it was in the Surrounded set so who knows.

the title track from Jethro Tull's upcoming new album, "Curious Ruminant" 
Started with Utopia on my 5.1.2 setup.
I'd say it's on par with the Fossora mix, which is to say pretty great.
Could imagine it going wilder with some of the flute/birdsong sounds but it's definitely no slouch with plenty of discrete action going on and the layered vocals popping up from everywhere in some songs.
Really glad to finally get this album in surround, always felt the stereo mix left something to be desired.
Bring on the physical release!

I checked out Vespertine last night and was very impressed. An Echo A Stain is a good one for someone looking for a nice, trippy Bjork track in surround. I really hope they release a box of these.
I followed Vespertine with a blind listen of this one, which is kind of a similar percussive, electronic style and has a nice Atmos mix:

i'm in a big ol' Bee Gees mood today for some reason (it's been a while 
) and have been combing through their Atmos offerings on Apple Music 
are these 23 tracks everything that's on there in Atmos?
i imagine it's already been noted here and i missed it or it was so long ago i'd forgotten but the 2 streaming Atmos versions of "You Should Be Dancing" have wildly different mixes!
the Atmos "Full Version" (4:46) more closely resembles the original Stereo (4:17) in terms of balances and mix elements, whereas the Atmos "Edit" version (4:17) on the "Children Of The World" album has the same track length as the original Stereo but much greater emphasis on percussion! the album edit in Atmos is more like a Deodato track! bongo-tastic! woo!

Yes, it looks very cheesy nowadays.
It was very common back then to take an english spoken song and cover it with French lyrics. Frank Sinatra did the reverse with a Claude François song.
Now I need to check this Atmos mixing.
in other snooze, i mean news i've been collating an Apple Music Playlist of everything Elton & Elton-related i could find streaming in Atmos 
106 tracks, 7 hours 52 minutes of EJ in Surround should tide us over until those albums of his get released on Atmos Blu-ray!
(n.b. still can't find an Apple Music streaming version of "Bitch Is Back" in Atmos, it was there for a while but seems to have disappeared!
