Jeff Buckley GRACE [ORG/Stereo SACD] Simply MAGNIFICENT
The only other HKs I have are Enigma (good) and Diana Krall’s Wallflower (so-so IMO).
I’ve heard parts of the Culture Club one, it’s very good.
The Cranberries seems to get mixed reviews. How is the Tears For Fears?
I've been pleased with HK SACD's over all.
Tears for Fears sounded OK to me. Admittedly, I haven't a/b'ed the tracks to my CD, the Seeds box, or the BD's. Nor have I had a chance to a/b the SACD's to CD's. Have been meaning to do that...
I also bought these HK SACD's:
Ultimate Manilow
Diana Ross
Always in My Heart - Los Indios Tabajaras

BTW, another stunning Universal Hong Kong Stereo SACD which I recently acquired. Performance/sonics: FIRST RATE!

hey Ralphie
this album was previously available in SACD 5.1 . I dont own it. It goes for mega bucks on the used market in this day and age. Been on the fence about getting this version, but seeing as it has the Ralph endorsement, looks like Ill be cracking open the wallet once again. thanks
According to the comments over at HRAudio.net, the multi~CH SACD [going for BIG bucks] was NO BIG DEAL in the surround department. Rest assured, this IS the version to get, Ricky!
What a groovy jazz album!View attachment 74925
Donald Byrd - Black Byrd
This Dutton Vocalion SACD has quad but I’m listening in stereo and it’s delicious .
One of DV’s best so far, great music and sonics.
Is that the Relaxin’ on Analogue Productions?
I have the DCC so it’s always a tug of war when an SACD comes along
