Have her first four Elektra albums and a couple of the Arista’s. Like this one the best, great collection of songs & lyrics, great feel.
Really nice sound too.
Wish MoFi had carried on with more of her albums.

I skipped No Secrets (so far) because I have the Audio Fidelity Gold and the DVD Audio.
But the completist in me is tempted.

I also skipped No Secrets 2ch SACD. Already bought it on LP, Q8, CD-4, CD & DVD-A. My favorite is the DVD-A. My Husband's fave is the CD-4. He likes the big cover.

I bought the other 3 2ch MoFi SACD's. Every time I buy a 2ch SACD that I have in Quad, it pains me. I thought all of the SACD's sounded good.

I wouldn't have bought them or their equivalent CD's without a good price. $19 for SACD's and $3 used for the CD's. I bought the used CD's soon after they were released.

To me this doesn't bode well for more CS on SACD. I'd rebuy Playing Possum, Another Passenger and Boys in the Trees on SACD.

If it's this one, the HDCD encoding does include Peak Extension, so it's best enjoyed decoded (whether on playback by a decoder or pre-decoded in software).

One of their better albums IMO.
Sounds nice, though the regular CD is no slouch. I’m not convinced this one sounds much better.
Maybe I’ll compare them side by side one of these days.

One of my favorite all-time albums. And I completely agree, the original cd sounds so good the SACD sounds pretty much the same to me.
