You read my travails about ordering TRAVELS through CDJapan with their ridiculously expensive and frankly convoluted Proxy Service. Universal which controls ECM should've released it on a single, single~layered SHM~SACD. Politics?hirez

Yes, Gene. It does. As Clinty and I both agreed ... the AP CCR Stereo Remasters got a bad rap and IMO, they all sound pretty darn good!
Where did they get a bad rap from... SHF or elsewhere?
Thinking about picking this one up - any thoughts on it from my fellow travelers?

JP, I have 8 of the AP Impulse Stereo SACDs, but most unfortunately not that one but I can attest to the 'usual' high quality Kevin Gray infuses into all his DSD remasters. If you're a fan....buy with absolute confidence! Or your money back [yeah, right]!
This one just in - excellent sound - can hear every little tick of the pick and wood scrape on the guitars, never heard it this good before

Will definitely have to add it to my must buy list. That awesome sound's probably attributed to MoFi's DSD 256 [QUAD] mastering.

Ironically, JP, the movie's probably cheaper to buy than the MoFi SACD! Unfortunately, it has not been released on BD~V ........ but if it was .........

BTW, just received an email from Music Direct [parent company of MoFi] today that all current and back~ordered purchases are now subject to local sales tax.
Bummer, indeed, since those of us who have ordered merchandise from them in the past have enjoyed not only free shipping but exemption from sales tax, as well.
The party is over. Besides the high price of Hi Res Physical Discs ... we now have to dig deeper into our pockets to pay the piper!

Probably as good as it's gonna sound [unless it's DSD 256 remastered from the Original Analogue Masters] Remastered in 2002 by Steve Hoffman/Kevin Gray from the original FANTASY analogue masters
