How is the Minute By Minute SACD?
I bought the Japan SACDs for the albums MoFi didn’t do, but skipped that one because I already had the Audio Fidelity gold disc.

I skipped the SACD's MoFi did. I have all of those SACD's and the CD 4's. I also skipped One Step and Farewell. Neither has ever impressed me all that much. I own those on LP & CD. My Farewell CD is Japanese.

I've owned Minute on LP (1st pressing), Nautilus 1/2 speed LP, and German bullseye CD. I still have the German CD, but haven't a/b'ed them. I like the Japan SACD a lot. It's a great album.

IMHO, Dependin' on You is the best track. Simmons is often overlooked. Sad.

What a Fool is great and was a huge hit. McD wrote it w/Kenny Loggins. I still prefer Loggins' version on Nightwatch. That version came out several months earlier.

The MoFi SACDs by the Doobie Brothers are must haves.
Really excellent. The Doobie Brothers SACDs issued by Warner Japan don't come close.
