...I have to say... those suck pretty much... I suck at using Adobe Audition... I dont know why everything goes to the center channel and you can hardly hear what I puto in the surrounds... an Audition course is what I will have to take somewhere...

Chicago X DVD-A Test Pressing.

WOW! Mix is similar to the Quad, but it's all that and a bag of chips. Kilingenberg & Kellogg did a very nice job on this. Truly a missed opportunity that this one wasn't released! Couldn't they have done at least a CD/DVD-A set? One of their greatest albums. It's like they listened to War and assimilated it into their sound, especially on You Get It Up. The photos show the band before Terry ended it all. at the height of their powers. The chocolates dwindling one-by-one for the on-screen is a really cute touch. So is the Allergy information: manufactured on the same equipment that processes peanuts. Who knew?

I can still remember buying this on Q8 and cranking it while cruising down the tollway with my GF Sue. Memories...

These are my homeys. I managed an esoteric hi-fi store next to Serafini's (Seraphine's) Uncle's hair salon. Two of his cousins worked there, as well. Loughnane's uncle was a client. DeOliviera's cousin was an old client and a friend. He fronted a KILLER salsa band called Chevere. Pankow's sister gave me some tests last time I was hospitalized. A buddy knows most of them from DePaul. Their manager used to own Demon Dogs under the "El" tracks near DePaul.

Sweet tender love in your eyes...

Finally moved the Denon back up into the TV/5.1 room and listened to the Goodbye Yellow Brick Road SACD this week.

WOW

My all time favorite album is awesome in MC, why did I wait this long to listen? (maybe I was afraid I'd be disappointed?)

I need to vote in the poll....hmmmm wonder what the score will be ? ;)

How did it feel, Grey Seal?

I'm still into my vinyl obsession. I picked up my third turntable, another Technics linear, at an estate sale this week. I finally hooked up my Lafayette SQ-W and am using the new turntable as a dedicated SQ turntable. I spent the day listening to a quad marathon of my small collection of SQ LP's. Loggins & Messina Full Sail, Chicago V, Chase, Barbra Streisand Live at the Forum , Billy Joel Piano Man, Kris Kristofferson Spooky Ladys Sideshow and an SQ demonstration disc.

"Everything to Everybody" - Barenaked Ladies (DVD-A) Found this sealed for $8.00. I hardly knew anything about this band before I bought this, but I'm really digging the vibe which I find similar to recent They Might Be Giants. I also like the sound quality, which doesn't fatigue my ears with sizzling high end like so many modern recordings.

I got two SL-QL1s...one is definitely not enough!!!

Gorgeous recording of the Dvorak "American" quartet and the quintet op. 97. Beautiful pieces. SQ format vinyl.
