My neighbors have to think I'm effing nuts. I just switched to the 5-LP box set of QS-encoded crap known as "Country Brass" from the Longines Symphonette Society. What glorious garbage music! I can't image the people who would actually pay for this at the time of its release had quad gear. i found it at a thrift store for 2 bucks and couldn't resist cause it's quad.

Sounds pretty good, tho....

"Everything to Everybody" - Barenaked Ladies (DVD-A) Found this sealed for $8.00. I hardly knew anything about this band before I bought this, but I'm really digging the vibe which I find similar to recent They Might Be Giants. I also like the sound quality, which doesn't fatigue my ears with sizzling high end like so many modern recordings.

Wings-Venus and Mars DVD-A from my own Q8 (one of two Q8s I own!)-INCREDIBLE TRANSFER by a fellow member...in spite of the medium's shortcomings, IT SHINES!!!! Great frequency response (MUCH better than the DTS CD), and the song order as it (almost) should be!
