Clement, was this among the new batch of D~V Classical Releases? Is it at all discrete?
Yes, it is.
Oh, MAN, is it ever!
But you know what's even better?
When I finished the first disc, I thought I'd see if the postman came

He sure did . . . and so did I!

Twice!

Hope your box isn't damaged. Fingers Crossed. Full review anticipated, brother Clement.........

And thanks for the info regarding La Boheme. George Szell was one of our very finest conductors!

Well, the box is a little beat up, but nothing more than crinkles and creases--no rips. Listening to the 5.1 mix, all is forgiven

Glorious! There truly is No Other

I hear you about Szell . . . but how do you feel about Solti?

Far Fu**ing OUT, Clement. BTW, poster Skherbeck was told by his vendor that replacement boxes for NO OTHER would take a month to replace. And yes, my bad, George Solti ..... still one of THE BEST conductors. BTW, my lowly RBCD of Clark's No Other was shipped out by Deep Discount. I'm spending my year end money on a brand new audio system and you don't want to know what THAT set me back.

The one and only. There can be ONLY ONE. Now let's get the rest of those unreleased JOHNS out of the can and into our hearts ❤ and homes.🏠

This is the surround release that got me started on this fantastic, wallet draining and ear tingling pastime.

Ooh little did I know way back then, what total fun this hobby would become. :QQlove

Similar to Lichtmond and Schiller?
It sure is Mike and in a good way.
There are SACD versions of the 2 Ambra releases I recently bought, playing the other one shortly (Child of the Universe)
But they go for silly money.
It is a surround extravaganza..it knocks a lot of other releases for 6!!

I would go as far as saying Mr Wilson would be proud of this mix....
