AGREED, Mr. Blue. NEVER thought we'd ever get this AND Angel Clare on mch SACD. Am currently listening to my 16 RBCD 'bargain RBCDs' from D~V. The same sonic miracles Mr. Dutton performs on his SACD remasters is in full evidence on his RBCDs.
Just throwing my '16 bits' in.
throw all 16 of your bits in the mix, Ralphie the Quadgehog! spookily enough i'm embroiled in retro Sonic Sega 16-bitchery right now, with the Mega Drivel Mini!
meantime, if the wizard of Watford isn't already spoken for i'll throw down my hand in marriage! right here, right now, taketh my hand (in rubber marigold for added protection) and say you'll be mine! yes, yes, yes!! i do! i do! i do!! i'm not ashamed to admit i want that man's Quad babies and i want the vast majority of them before i reach the Quadromenopause, or afore physical music product dries up, whichever is the soonest!!!!!
i.e. make it a bumper Quad Christmas or i'll hit the buffers. or the buffet. the gloves are on, its turkey time
Willie Nelson - Night and Day
Parts are just excellent. Sweet Georgia Brown is an example....just amazing.
Great call @weekendtoy ! I found it for a pittance and I'm enjoying the mix now!

Roy Buchanan version is smokin hotAlways wondered how the heck they come up with the name for a song GREEN ONIONS....so....WIKI says:
According to Steve Cropper, the name is not a marijuana reference; rather, the track is named after the Green Badger's cat, Green Onions, whose way of walking inspired the riff. Songfacts.com, however, ascribes the track's title to Booker T. Jones. When asked by Jim Stewart what he'd named his track, Songfacts reports, Jones replied "Green Onions." "'Why "Green Onions"?' Jim asked. Booker T: 'Because that is the nastiest thing I can think of and it's something you throw away.'"
On a Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! broadcast on June 24, 2013, host Peter Sagal asked Booker T. why his song was called, "Green Onions". Booker T. said, "The bass player thought it was so funky, he wanted to call it, 'Funky Onions', but they thought that was too low-class, so we used 'Green Onions' instead."
Some poor soul's only source of tunes. Makes me want to shed a few tears.QUADROMENOPAUSE ........Ecch, Adam ......that thought deserves its very own dedicated thread. When even the sound of multiple speakers isn't ENOUGH, the eggs dry up and what we're left with is the puny sound of an Amazon Echodot......and CD~4skin!
Can you provide a discogs link or something to this title. I'm unfamiliar and a big Willie fan.

I Just did Adamthat's a great price Ralphie!
whoever wants it, i'd say leap on it asap.
Willie may be mute but the mix isn't bad and it sounds delicious! ordinarily goes for three times that and more, when you can find it, its a scarce birdie and way way out of print!
