a unicorn!!! I know, it don't exist OFFICIALLY!!!!..I know an upmix when I hear it and I got this about 10 years ago when software was not nearly as sophisticated as it is today...
Don't know where it came from I just know it sounds legit!!!

The HD tracks have poor DR ratings.
Thank you for the tip. Are you saying the orig CD has better DR than the HD tracks?

I well understand the value of good DR but it is only one factor of many defining the quality of sound. I am not that fetishistic as others making a purchase of (or not) on the DR of a recording.
The question of balance between music with high resolution & limited DR vs lower res & better DR is interesting.

I'm with you. It can definitely be a trade-off.

Some people find them lifeless and want something that's been re-mastered using modern technology.
