So Sean - you are a fan of making playlists with Foobar. I've never tried it....how do you deal with varying volume levels from song to song? Or you just don't worry about it?
I know there is a setting in foobar that will automatically equalize levels between songs... maybe someone can weigh in on that. The thing I don't like about using that feature is some songs should be quieter relative to others, and an automated feature doesn't account for that (at least I don't think it does). Personally, I have about 1,000 songs in my surround playlist so far, and I've customized each one in some way, usually just by adjusting the overall level in Audacity, but often times I may adjust levels of the rears, center, individual elements in the mix, or bass/treble in all or one channel. My favorite thing about the surround playlist is that every song is one that I really like and has a decent surround mix. I like playing these randomly because sometimes it's just too difficult to choose what to listen too, lol. I like the surprise element too.So Sean - you are a fan of making playlists with Foobar. That reminds me, I need to try an up-mix for one of my Cocker favs off this- You’ve got to hide your love away. I feel they hosed the mix on that one
No, not really. One of the songs had me thinking about a scottish landscape.....so......Any association with the photo?
How is the mix on this one?ZZ Top Live At Montreux 2013 Blu ray
