Waiting on a superman by the flaming lips. Such an important track for me, and one that's gotten me through so much. Love it to death.
I got mine directly from his web site, I believe it is a BD-R maybe - never the less an outstanding listen! Here's the discog listing, MM, but none are for sale at this juncture. It's that insanely GOOD:

What kind of music is it? Orchestral, Space, Symphonic, Jazz, Psych? Or maybe music for HeadPhones? I mean by looking at track names.....sounds like it could be a SOUND EFFECTS albumHere's the discog listing, MM, but none are for sale at this juncture. It's that insanely GOOD:

Is There Anybody Out There?Nah, again, Dunc. The truth just morphed into Amin Bhatia's Exquisite Surround remix of The Interstellar Suite

Sorry to be behind the times....I've seen Tomita mentioned here before but know zip about them eitherIf you dig Tomita ..... you'll certain dig the headiness and resplendent melodies of Amin Bhatia. Hard to describe but even though it's in DTS it sounds exceptionally good ..... almost like a MLP DVD~A! Hopefully at some point, he'll repress the BD~R and offer it at a sane price.
Dutton Vocalion has a couple of the Tomita's from the Quad years which are excellent, but the music does sound as slightly dated synth. stuff.Sorry to be behind the times....I've seen Tomita mentioned here before but know zip about them either

When I heard Amin Bhatia's Instellar Suite and realized when it was recorded, IMO, he was way ahead of Tomita. Much more sophisticated use of synthesizers which sounded much more orchestral in nature than synthesized.
Thanks for this guys....I'll check this stuff out after NHL hockey later tonight.....hoping for Tampa & Vancouver to win their gamesWhen I heard Amin Bhatia's Instellar Suite and realized when it was recorded, IMO, he was way ahead of Tomita.
