How is the surround mix on the Silverline disc?

Fidelity is very good. Bass is clean and strong. Surround mix has a decent amount of separation. The music is ... well, it's Robert Cray.

I have the DVD-A on US Warner. I like to use "Gold Dust Woman" as a demo for friends who don't have 5.1 surround. Not only is the surround mix great, but the fidelity is stunning, just a TKO!

I would guess the SACD sounds about as good? It is made from the DVD-As PCM master right?

It was a part of the Warner DVD-A discs rolled out around the beginning of the format. 1999-2000 I think.

Here is one, $60 is about the average price it goes for.
