Listening to Now (In Surround) - Volume 2

Very strange and unusual, I bought it because it was cheap and cheerful, not sure if i’ll keep it or not yet, will give it a few listens before deciding. £1.20 on ebay!

cute.. it even has a DTS CD brother/cousin, Club Voodoo!

I have both. Tagged in my inventory as DTS-ES Discrete 6.1. From when I was looking for checking if my AVR decodes properly, having 7.1 floor speakers. Because the single Surround back speaker for exactly 6.1 is rare.

Will have to do a listen again. I remember it was some crude electronic, or so.

Just realized I did not buy mine on Amazon…I think I bought it used on eBay…need to do a little more digging!

Amazon customer service, I recall, supplied me with the email address. I didn’t even realize that I could access Amazon orders from 7 years ago! That was the game changer for me!

Spotted this at local Half Price Books $10. Had never seen it before so know nothing about it. No surprise that it’s a Wilson mix. Will report back after a listen!

Yea I know dont have a demodulator hooked up yet to my marantz you still get something.

I’d call Amazon customer service. When I did that they offered me a refund for the original purchase price with NO requirement to return the box set. They know this was a defective box set. I was happy with that but continued to pursue the replacement disc request!

Got to see Sly and Robbie with Black Uhuru. Nice evening over 30 years ago. Judy Mowat, Eek A Mouse and UB40 were also there that night.

I actually did get a refund…just want the replacement disc…maybe there is another email at EMI or Capitol to try…
