Well, what can I say? I only bought the 5.1 dvd of this a couple of weeks ago and loved it so much I had to buy the atmos. I’m not sure what’s happened but this is truly dreadful in my opinion, I have the dvd on ebay but if it doesn’t sell i’ll be keeping it and selling this instead. With an atmos disc I always turn up my rears 2 db’s and my heights 4 db’s but still couldn’t hear anything, I had to put my ears to the speakers to hear anything at all, even my better half said to me at one point “I thought you said this was in atmos” !!!

well, as a mixing engineer, you always start by mimicking the original mix for the levels, EQ and fx...I know that when I A/B the ATMOS I did of Taytay's "Shake it off" it sounds almost IDENTICAL to the Stereo one...the only Surround mix I hear with a quite different EQ (way more Low end) is Donnie's Kamakiriad.. I am nor complaining, though... besides, Elliot Scheiner would have "carte blanche" to do as he pleases...
