Queen: A Night at the Opera [DTS Entertainment MLP DVD~A 5.1.....] Simply SUPERB on EVERY conceivable level.

Jacintha: The Girl from Bossa Nova [Groove Note Mch 5.1 SACD] Gorgeous treatment of Bossa Nova classics...very jazzy and the sonics are state of the art. https://audipad.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/Jacintha-The-Girl-From-Bossa-Nova-SACD.jpg

Andre Kostenlanetz: Music From Spain/Villa Lobos........one of my VERY favorite Dutton Vocalion SACDs in marvelous and very discrete 4.0

The Rat Pack Live at the Villa Venice (Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr & The Chairman of the Board) Reprise MLP DVD~A 5.1 Sonics are splendid (though not discrete) but, man, is this racist:yikes. Frank does a number on Sammy Davis Jr [Back of the bus jokes]? But it WAS the '60's and the crowd at the Villa Venice ate it up. Some splendid vocalizing from all three. BTW, Davis' wife, Swedish actress May Britt [who starred in the Blue Angel remake] always publicly and privately opposed Sinatra and Martin's condescending treatment of her husband and chided Sammy for allowing the rampant bullying to continue unabated. http://pxhst.co/avaxhome/22/b3/001ab322_medium.jpeg

After listening to The Donnas in a bad 3.1 mix yesterday, I needed to fill my ears with something more interesting. I went with ICP's The Wraith. After almost shaking my house down I realized the mix from DTS was fun. Today I felt the need to continue my DTS experience with N*E*R*D In Search Of and Steve Stevens Flamenco A Go-Go. I had a great afternoon listening to both of them. I can't wait to continue my DTS listening with Toy Matinee tomorrow turned up extremely loud and a few beers. Not sure where to take it from there but enjoying pulling stuff from deep in the shelves. Scott
