Believe me, I have a lot of ORGAN recordings. I just don't listen to them as frequently as Brett does. Brett likes to pretend he's living in a church and can't resist the 'pageantry' of non~secular music. And don't kid yourself, Mr. B also loves heavy metal music. And since he hails from the midwest, he also loves hee haw music. You can take the boy out of the country .... but you can't take the country out of the boy!Boy Brett's a musical enigma!

At the same time my day starts with organ music at organlive.com, though I couldn't care less about the religious aspects of organ music. To me, there is nothing like the roar of a full throated organ.

There's nothing inherently wrong with Heavy Metal and loving a Heavy pedal on a massive organ........It's ALL good!

A friend of mine runs an Insurance company out of a converted church. The original pipe organ is still there and functioning. Once in a blue moon I'll be there and can play the organ. I bring some sheet music and fire away on the classical, it's awesome!

What a treat! Maybe next time you can post some pictures of the organ and the pipes, (at least the facade) please.
