Here's my thoughts...

Nice package. In keeping with the other Marillion Re-releases. 4CDs and 1 BR.
The surround mix is better than Michael Hunter's other efforts, in my opinion. As always, it helps to increase the rears quite a bit, but when you do, the mix is one of the best he's done (but it's no Steven Wilson)
The songs sound fresh, though, and probably the best I've heard them. A definite improvement on the CD.
Over 2 hours of demos and jams included on the BR disc along with a 1hr 25min Making of doc, a 2hr 14min live 'bootleg' concert (audience member filmed by the look of it but mixing desk sound fortunately) and a couple of promo videos including a bizarre Peter Gabrielesque Kiss that Frog vibe video ripped straight from the VHS tape of 'Man of a Thousand Faces'

The disc isn't authored very well. I've found this with a couple of recent Marillion blu rays. There's a long delay between pressing a button on the remote and something appearing on the screen (pop-up menus, etc). It's not my player(s) because no other blu ray discs have this issue. It's not a huge deal, but it's worth noting.

Overall, a solid 9/10 mainly for the wealth of content alone and value for money.

I can't believe how far behind on listening.
I am real good at ripping and tagging within a day or two.
All these new versions with all there Blu Ray stuff, instrumentals, etc. It can take a couple hours to rip and tag one disc. Sometimes over a couple days spread out.
Crowded House-Gravity Stairs released 5/31/2024. SDE#23.
Blu Ray rip. Atmos MKV file, 24bit/48Khz. DR's are 10's, 11's, 12's, 13's.

I've really enjoyed this thread over the years, thanks @Clint Eastwood for creating it; currently on page 2393 and in it's second threading!

*just a quick Shout out to a couple of my long term buds here that have introduced (ripped my wallet to shreds) me to many previously unknown titles 🤗

New arrival! I sampled a stereo version of this and couldn't get into it. I heard the screeching and said "Nope". Next I see all my QQ friends listening to this and loving it. And then @edisonbaggins does his review and describes the 5.1 mix a showpiece. So dropped the $22 at Amazon and the disc arrived the next day. And now my mind is blown over the active 5.1 mix and the beauty of the Atmos mix. Now I'm a fan. Really happy I got this before it becomes out of print.

I always wondered if Don Henley liked his haircut on this album cover?
The End Of Innocence 5.1 DTS released 2000.
Having quite a bit of surround under my belt now, although this is actually a quite good discrete mix, but because it is 16bit/44.1Khz lossy it just lacks that punch that lossless has.
Ripped DTS CD. DR's are 12, 13's, 14's, 15's, 16.
