-the 5.1 mix has mainly ambient room reverb in the rears but fills out the surround stage somewhat regardless. The Center is mainly James Carter's various Saxophone's; with the fronts having bass, drums, piano, strings and other horns.

Arrived home very late last night after 5 weeks in Spain to these, first up is APP of course, busy weekend ahead

I have a Denon AVC-X8500HA (Marantz is owned by the same company, so should be the same), and unlike my old Pioneer you can't scroll through the inputs to get to the multi-channel analogue input on the fly

You have to go to Set-up: Select Input Source and switch from HDMI to 7.1 Analogue - its irritating, and you can't assign the 7.1 to say an AUX i/p either!

Yep, so far that’s all I’ve been able to find - go into setup. Also, when I try other analog MC sources, the video is from the Oppo, which is off. Got some head-scratching to do.

Much of our lives were trying to be a bit 'careful' with money. This specially true since about 2015. Bumped my stupid head... Around 2020 became off the charts. And now, with proper 5.1 mixes gradually disappearing, the latest stand alone Who release may be it. We are blessed though. So much music in this home over so many years..... ALL GOOD

Just received the Who~.. a WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Another fantastic 5.1 by Steven Wilson
