I am not into Classical, but this Organ music from giant pipe organ intrigued me. Big giant stereo room filling at 24/96.
Listening now to John Oates stereo Arkansas, 24/48 from HDTracks released 2017. DR's are 7's, 8's and 9's sounds good as there is not a lot of instruments bleeding over.
Beautiful recording Aretha, Soul 69, stereo FLAC from HDTracks 24/192 DR's are 11's, 12's and 13's. Orginally released 1969.

I don’t remember spending a lot of time with this album when I bought it in the early ‘80s, and I’m not certain I’d have the patience to get to know it now, but over the years I have grown to love this. Listening now in 96/24 flac.
Brand new Foo Fighters, 2.0 HDTracks 24/44.1, DR's are 5's, 6's & 7's, why do they do that? Ok lets just give it a fair listen. Songs first, quality of sound second.

The Foo Fighters download was pretty good actually, songs are good, quality was OK.
Now this one is real good, lots of different artists signing Johnny Cash. 24/96, DR's are still all over the place, but music is more open, so even though shitty DR's sounds good.

I have been mostly discouraged with my flac purchases. To be honest. I truly wish the vendors who sell these would list the DR. It would be super easy to do and in most cases theh folks buying wouldn't even look at them. But for us anal retentive types, it would be awesome.
I have increased my purchases of flac from Bandcamp to support the little guys.
