Would love to hear Oceansize in surround. Unfortunately I don't think they have enough mass appeal to justify any remixes, even if they were interested.

I bought Oceansize's 'Effloresce' cd back in early 2000s and always enjoyed it. Been a minute since I listened to it, so I'll have to revisit this weekend. But from what I seem to remember, an Atmos mix would be tremendously awesome!

Never say never. I interviewed Mike last week - the article should be up on the IAA site by the end of the month - and given his newfound enthusiasm for surround/Atmos, I'd say it's not implausible. It looks like the first two records are still controlled by Beggars Group (who have put out loads of Atmos mixes, both new and older albums) and then everything from 2007 onwards is currently being reissued by KScope (they released a 3LP edition of Frames with some bonus tracks for its 20th anniversary last year).

That said: if I could pick just one Vennart/Oceansize-adjacent release to get an Atmos mix, it'd have to be the British Theatre Mastery record. The electronic soundscapes seem perfect for it. To Cure A Blizzard Upon A Plastic Sea would also be really cool.
