According to my “it probably wasn’t a good idea to track purchases and see just how much I spend each year” spreadsheet, I pre-ordered in July of last year. Which, on the MoFi time-conversion scale, is “Just the other day.”

Is it too soon to start pestering them about Fair Warning?

I ordered Women and Children this morning from the MOFI site, not Music Direct.

So far the very best of recent Van Halen releases are the MQA's from Japan of the Sammy era, absolutely awesome.
Right ON, Markie, and those VH MQA Japanese 'beauties' are half the price of those MoFi Stereo SACDs and are FULL 24 bit when properly decoded!

My copy actually made it to the last FedEx local location yesterday at 4am. Yet somehow, it didn't make it to the trucks. So, maybe today. Sheesh. Like pulling teeth to get this title.

Two nights ago, there was a $200 charge on my credit card from CIGARS. Which would have been fine if I had made the order. After confirming that my wife hadn’t taken up a secret hobby, I had to cancel the credit card. The bank was nice enough to send new cards ASAP and they arrived moments ago.

But it was sometime in the middle of the night it occurred to me that three MoFi pre-orders were on that cancelled card... including Women and Children First! As soon as I activated the card, the first call was to Music Direct. About 60 seconds after hanging up, a charge alert came through from them, so it should be on the way.

I resisted the temptation to get confirmation on when Fair Warning will arrive out for fear of yelling uncontrollably, “LIES!! IT’S ALL LIES!!” (I could have never done that... the gal on the phone at MD was soooo nice and helpful. She was a model of what customer service on the phone should be.)

Years from now, when you pull out W&CF, you will be reminded of those cigars.

Mine just arrived and, to top it off, the new Steven Wilson as well.
Man, I wish I had more free time today.
Since I already have heard W&CF a million times, I guess SW gets listened to first.
