I love this!
One of the best comedy movies I‘ve ever seen!

I love both versions of this film. The American version wisely chose to do it in its own style and this is why it works. Peter Dinklage gets to play his character twice. Both films offer amazing casts.

but The Departed avy? I agree though, not worth watching 10 times even though Jack and Vera Farmiga :love::love::love::love::love:. Marry me Vera, Please, I beg of you.

I am pretty sure I have only watched The Departed once. The avatar was selected the day HD DVD bowed out of the format war, over 12 years ago now, it was an attempt at humor and should have been changed 12 years ago.

As far as Vera Farmiga, she is a great actress and I am a big fan. I think I would rather beat my head against the wall than be married to a beautiful movie star, especially one 20+ years younger, that would be far less painful.

That intro ... (with or without Vera)

For me:
Shawshank Redemption (seems to be a forum fave)
Godfathers I and II
Most Quentin Tarantino movies but especially Inglorious bastards
Dazed and Confused
Almost Famous
Breakfast Club
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
This is Spinal Tap

I’m sure I’m forgetting a few.
Others I’ve seen more than 5 times but probably don’t need to see again:
Caddyshack
Animal House
A Christmas Story
Godfather 1 and 2 are films I've seen more than five times, closer to 10.

Another excellent film about a writer...or should I say 2 writers! Philip Seymour Hoffman is amazing in this one.

Capote (2005)

What a tragic loss it was for us when Philip Seymour Hoffman passed. So many great performances; remember what a bad ass he was in Mission Impossible III? What wonderful range of characters; I miss his talent and feel his loss similar to guitarist/singer Lowell George. Drug and alcohol abuse doesn’t discriminate.
